Nebraska credit unions will host the Carnival for Kids on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. The events are held in the Children’s Hospital lobby for the children staying at the hospital or simply coming in to any of there outpatient care clinics. Their siblings are also welcome to attend. The carnival games, prizes, activities and crafts allow kids to be kids, forgetting for a brief period of time about their illness and treatment. The carnival also gives credit unions another way to give back to their community and provide credit union volunteers a chance to see first hand what our fundraising efforts are supporting.
To make this event happen, donations and volunteers are needed. Your credit union can choose to sponsor an entire event or donate what you can and your credit will be partnered with other credit union to host an event. All carnivals are held from 10:30 – 11:30 am in the lobby of Children’s Hospital at 8301 West Dodge Road. Volunteers will need to arrive by 10:15 am and be finished at 11:45 am.
