We are excited to announce that the Nebraska Credit Union League will once again sponsor one (1) Young Professional to be our CUNA GAC Crasher in 2015. The CUNA GAC is the premier conference each year that brings together thousands of credit union advocates from across the Country to advance the legislative agenda of America’s credit unions. The 2015 CUNA GAC will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 – Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Washington D.C. The GAC is a great opportunity for a Young Professional to not only learn about the nuts and bolts of legislative advocacy but also to get involved in moving the credit union legislative agenda forward on Capitol Hill. GAC attendees will hear from congressional leaders on Capitol Hill, NCUA Board Members, nationally recognized speakers, and participate in breakout sessions that focus on key topics for credit unions. Additionally, the Nebraska Credit Union League will host several events for Nebraska credit union advocates including a Welcome Reception on Sunday, March 8th, a Reception with Hill Staffers on Monday, March 9th, and Hill Visits with each of our three Congressmen and two U.S. Senators. The League will cover the following costs for the selected Crasher:
– GAC Registration Fee
– Roundtrip Flight to Washington D.C.
– Hotel Accomodation
– Entry into League sponsored events during the GAC
